I dare you to watch this without smiling
I love love love the bond that is building between my children. I felt it before Avarie came into this world when Kaiden kissed and hugged my belly and I love watching it unfold in front of me. This video captures part of their love and joy expressed between them.

Daddy's girl
A friend posted this on facebook and it brought tears to my eyes. I think these are such important things to remember as a parent both to a son or daughter. Treasure every moment, clean less and play more!

Like Mother, Like Daughter
My mom is great at saving special items of ours from when we were kids and she passed a few dresses of mine on to me to wear on my daughter when I found out I was having a girl. Here is a shot of Me in 1985 in this dress and Av wearing it now in 2011 :)
Solids!
We have started Av on some solids and so far she has loved each new dish! So far she has tried sweet potatoes, pears and carrots and has loved each one! Here is a pic of our happy girl after her sweet potatoes and cereal
Real life fairy-tale
We were lucky to be invited to experience a real life fairytale when our family friend Wed her childhood sweetheart (reunited on facebook years later!) this past weekend :) It was a beautiful day and ceremony filled with tears of joy and special memories. Her is a shot of my beautiful family all dressed up:
Exhibition
We took Kaiden to this year's ANE and he loved it! He had a great time and bravely went on many rides on his own! We were joined by his Grammy and Pops, Grandma & Papa and Uncle Kevin, Aunt Erica and Cousin Layla. It was a fun evening!
